I like to believe being in Maldives was a utopian experience. It felt so surreal to be there with no worries and seemingly unending time to relax; just the sound of the ocean waves crashing against the foundation of my water villa and the bright sun lighting up the luxurious room I shared with my sister. While Maldives is considered to be the perfect couple’s retreat, it was also definitely the best time I can ask for to bond with my older sister. I’d advice everyone to jump at ANY opportunity to visit this beautiful place.
Where I Stayed:
Centara Ras Fushi Resort and Spa in Malé, Maldives
What I Did:
Being a very relaxing vacation on the whole, let me just say all I did was snorkel a bit and lay on the beach and by the end of the trip, I got my brown skinned body burnt under the sun. I shall also point out thought that my tan lasted for 6 whole months.
What I Ate:
Since a vacation on the Maldives is meant to be very de-stressing, no travel is required, making the buffet the best available meal. I must say, I ate way more than my body could probably take.
What I Wore:
I tried to express my style more with this break. From branded logo bikinis to feminine prints in pastels, no stone was left unturned in creating a statement this vacations. My favourite piece of clothing not only on this trip but all summer was my pair of high-waisted shorts from Cheap Monday.
