This khaki shirt from Zara’s S/S16 collection is one of my favourite spring buys. While patches were a very noticeable trend this summer, this khaki shade, according to WGSN, is on the A/W 16/17 colour palette. The boxy silhouette fits the trend forecast for the coming S/S 17 fashion season as well.

The patches are so varied with a dinosaur and playing cards but at the same time, there is embroidery at the back. I’ve opted for a casual look by keeping the shirt half unbuttoned with a khaki bodysuit and black high waisted jeans. The boxy cut makes it easier to layer as well, for both winter and summer.

I like how it can be worn in multiple ways. I can dress it up by leaving it unbuttoned with a lacy bralette inside or dress it down with a simple bodysuit or crop top on the inside. I think I would be wearing this for a long time, despite the trend of the season as it brings out the slightly more quirky side of my style. Below are the details of the outfit.
